Alzheimer’s diseae is the most prevalent age-related neurodegenerative disorder in the world, affecting more than 13 million people. Clinical signs of Alzheimer's disease include progressive cognitive deterioration, together with declining ability to perform activities of daily living and neuropsychiatric symptoms or behavioral changes.
